Kiva Micro Loans = Sustainabiltiy

Ty is 68 years of age and a farmer from Santuk district, Kampong Thom province. To take care of his daily needs, Ty is engaged in the farming business and works as a construction worker around the province. His earnings from the two businesses allow him to provide his family members with a moderate living. Ty has five children, three of whom are currently employed in various careers in Phnom Penh.

Ty would like this loan to buy a motorcycle for his employed children to commute to their workplaces. This purchase will help them to reduce their traveling expenses and save more for their future needs. Ty is very grateful for loan support.

On November 14, 2013, I loaned Ty $25, along with many other people in the world.  I personally selected Ty from hundreds of loan requests made from around the world.

As of today, 3-18-2014, I have been repaid $6.25 (25% of my loan).  Status, Ty is paying back on time.

Win, win, sustainable?  Yes, yes, yes.
